Explore these exciting new features that have just been added to the Alf Engen Ski Museum website: 

  • In commemoration of the late Alf Engen's 100th birthday anniversary on  May 15, 2009, a slideshow presenting over 50 photos of major events in Alf's life can be found on the "Alf's 100th Birthday Anniversary" page.  Several of these photos are being shown to the public for the first time.  So, click on the link, sit back and enjoy!!

  •  Want to know more about Utah's skiing history?  Submit your question on the "Ask a Question" site and noted Utah ski historian Alan Engen will post your question and his answer on the "Utah Skiing History FAQs" page.  This is a great way to learn more about Utah's rich ski sport history.

  • Teachers participating in the Alf Engen Ski Museum's Field Trip Program will find our Field Trip Curriculum book on the Teacher Resources page.  Lesson plans, based on the Fourth Grade Utah Core Curriculum, are ready to download and use in the classroom.

Brief Description:

Named in honor of Utah's Athlete of the 20th Century, the Alf Engen Collection is the heart and soul of the Center. It is comprised of more than 300 trophies, medals, uniforms, scrapbooks, skis, boots, photos, films and other collectables that span some 70 years of a man who arguably did the most to shape the region's skiing landscape.
